“ICHH are delighted to have teamed up with 8 Bit and Gamers Unite for their event this coming saturday night. As a non government funded, volunteer led organisation ICHH relies on the support of the public and corporate charity partners like 8 Bit to keep our 7 nights a week outreach and advocacy service going throughout the winter months. We appreciate everyone’s support as it is vital to help us continue to be Dublin’s frontline outreach service over the Christmas period and into the New Year”

In Dublin alone, there are currently over 5,900 adults and children trapped in emergency accommodation. Dublin Simon Community work with over 5,100 people and families who are homeless or at risk each year across Dublin, Wicklow, Kildare and Meath. It is only through the support of people, companies and fundraising events such as this, that Dublin Simon Community can continue to deliver vital services to people affected by homelessness.
Jonathan Beatty from Dublin Simon Community said ‘On behalf of Dublin Simon Community and the people who rely on our services each day, we would like to thank everyone involved for their support. The proceeds raised from the game streaming event this weekend will help provide people with life changing outreach, treatment, housing, homelessness prevention and education services. We are very humbled to be chosen as beneficiary’s for this fantastic fundraiser and as we continue to see more people turning to us for help, the kindness of 8 Bit Conferences and the supporters of this event will make a vital difference and enable people to move to a safe and secure place they can call home.’
